Dr. Sarah Prichard is a nephrologist recognized for her contributions to understanding cardiovascular disease in patients on peritoneal dialysis (PD), including studies on lipid abnormalities, left ventricular hypertrophy, and both major and minor cardiovascular risk factors. She co-authored work on the use of PD in special situations, such as pregnancy, and served as President of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) in 2001, during which she promoted a core PD curriculum and expanded ISPD educational programs worldwide.
