As a member of the ISPD council, I am honoured to take this important job to provide my best knowledge, ideas, experience, and skills to work together with other PD enthusiast and team members globally to make PD as an accessible and affordable dialysis modality. I will strive to create and facilitate interest of future generations of healthcare professionals, including allied nurses/allied health in the development of home dialysis especially PD program. This includes to increase the PD uptake especially in LIC and MIC, expanding PD access training, developing a quality PD program for optimal patient outcome (including patient related outcome), strengthening patient/caregiver empowerment and patient advocacy.
