I was on PD for 2 years, then developed a problem when the cathiter rolled up behind my liver, and would not drain. They removed the cathiter and put a temporary connection for Hemo in my neck. When it was time to replace the cathiter, the surgeon would not do it because I had adhesions which he said he could remove, but they may come back in a couple of years. SO WHAT ?I am 74 years old so they won’t consider me for transplant. My question:Where can I find aq surgeon to place a cathiter?Thanx Billy

I am on Peritoneal Dialysis I stated to have bloody drain bags… I did contact the dr. and I did take the bloodys bags for culture and they can not find any infections and I also had a CT Scan done and they did find a ovarian cyst?? So I went to an OBGYN and he said that there is no way that could be the problem??? well no the Dr. is saying that I have to go back on Hemodialysis which I think is the worst kind of Dialysis and I really was wondering if anyone knew what eles it could possiablly be??Please any kind of sugg. will be helpful, Thanks!!!
