Amino acid solutions have not been approved in the U.S. To be approved, the FDA will require a full trial of the solutions. Companies that manufacture these solutions have not been willing to organize full trials to seek FDA approval. I would suggest contacting the manufacturers of the solutions to see if they would be willing to work with you in terms of planning trials of the eamino acid solutions. i would contact the physicians at Baxter who are in charge of the PD solutions and the regulatory process.
