Thanks for the answer on calculating peritonitis. On the example, where did the 21.5 patient years come from?

The 21.5 come from, counting the numbers of days patients are at risk and dividing for 365.
Ex 10 patients 30 days each 300 days at risk per given month – it as cumulative data.
