I guess you want to say ‘high transporter’. If so, short dwell and dry belly overnight is a good choice for some cases if the volume control is difficult to be achieved. However, a few patients require only 30-35 minutes of dwell, which is too short to remove the solute well. So, please check if your patient has the drainage problem due to tip migration, leak et al.
With regard to the difference between dry dwell and wet dwell, small solute clearance is similar if the volume of dialysate is sufficient. However, the middle and large solute clearance in wet dwell is better than in dry wet.
