Is lasix can help with the PD clearance and removal of fluid

Frusemide/Lasix does help with fluid removal as long as the patient still has a residual kidney function (RKF). However, it does not help much with clearance as clearance has to do with the pore of the peritoneum. Optimisation of Lasix used is important at the beginning of the treatment when the RKF is still good to help achieve dry weight and proper prescription for the patient.
