In the case of peritonitis with sepsis, IV antibiotics alone are reasonable. Should we combine them with IP antibiotics?

If the primary source of the sepsis is PD peritonitis then the preferred route of administration of the antibiotics would be intraperitoneal. This will get to the source of the infection and there will be adequate systemic absorption as well.
