In our new PD program, all nurses contribute to the care of all PD patients. Would it improve the quality of care, if each nurse was assigned a number of specified PD patients, of whom she/he is responsible?

I have no data to support this response but my experience of over 20 years says yes. It is helpful for each nurse to be acquainted with all patients to at least some degree. But the patient will benefit most from having a primary nurse who knows his/ her history in great detail and has a close relationship with that patient.
