Any experience with acetobacter peritonitis?? Pt sent to surgeon for nonpatent catheter, catheter packed with ATP and bloody drainage resulted with probable manipulation. Pt’s found to be tangled in adhesions during surgery and after the catheter packing. Then pt developed acetobacter peritonitis. Trying to find info on acetobacter such as how pt would contract (touch contaminant, gut bacteria). Anything would be helpful!
