PSN meeting in Pakistan

The ISPD was strongly represented at the Pakistan Society of Nephrology Conference 2026 in Islamabad (30 January–1 February 2026), with keynote contributions and hands-on workshop participation from leading faculty including ISPD President Professor Rajnish Marhotra, immediate past president Professor Edwina Brown, Professor Stanley Fan, and Professor Ahad Qayyum, incoming Chair of the International Liaison Committee.

The PD sessions drew exceptional interest, with attendance exceeding capacity threefold. A highlight of the meeting was the hands-on PD workshop featuring 10 interactive stations, covering topics from catheter placement and peritonitis management to POCUS in PD and PD in the ICU. The Saving Young Lives initiative station remained particularly popular throughout.
