In memory of Karl Nolph (1937-2014), Past President of the ISPD, one keynote lecture is highlighted at every ISPD Congress.

The lecturer will be an individual with a particular field of expertise in peritoneal dialysis (clinical, basic science, policy & advocacy).  Both ISPD members and non-members may be considered for the Lectureship.

The ISPD Executive decides who will give the Karl Nolph lecture at every ISPD Congress.

The speaker of the Karl Nolph Lecture does not receive any monetary award, but has his cost of travel & accommodation covered by the ISPD Local Organizing Committee, and receives a complimentary registration at the ISPD Congress.
