ISPD PD University for Interventionalists
October 15, 2019 @ 7:45 am - 5:30 pmUSD $750
PD (Peritoneal Dialysis) University for Interventionalists is a two-fold approach to training nephrologists and radiologists who place catheters using image-guided techniques. The course consists of didactic lectures followed by comprehensive hands-on workshops. The hands on workshop sessions are designed to take the physician through the entire process of catheter placement; including pre-operative catheter exit site selection, catheter implantation, and exteriorization and dressing. The course is limited in size to maximize the learning experience and time for collaboration with the faculty.
More information about the course can be found of the PDU website.
Although there are no prerequisites for this course, it is designed for interventional nephrologists and interventional radiologists with basic PD catheter placement experience.
The course material will be delivered by renowned experts in the field.
There is limited availability for this program, so attendance will be determined on a first come, first serve basis.
A similar course is available for General Surgeons. For more information, please visit www.pdusurgeons.com.
