Dr Adrian Liew is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Director of The Kidney & Transplant Practice at the Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital in Singapore. He was the founding Chief of Nephrology at the Department of Renal Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the LKC School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University-Imperial College London before moving to his current role. He has been elected as a Fellow to various academic institutions including the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom, American Society of Nephrology and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is a Scientific Leader with George Clinical and sits on the Steering Committees of various international clinical trials in nephrology. He has been actively involved in the training and development of glomerular disease and peritoneal dialysis programs in various countries around Southeast Asia and has provided sister renal centre mentorship to nephrologists in several developing countries. His research interests are in peritoneal dialysis, glomerular diseases and diabetic kidney disease, and he is the recipient of the 2020 John Maher award from the ISPD.
