Abdullah Al-Hwiesh (Saudi Arabia)

Prof. Abdullah Al-Hwiesh is a Saudi national working as a Professor of Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the College of Medicine, the University of Imam Abulrhman ben Faisal, and Consultant Internist/Nephrologist at King Fahd Hospital of the University (KFHU), Al-Khobar,  Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).  He is a graduate of the College of Medicine, King Faisal University, KSA.  He was certified by the Arab Board in Internal Medicine in 2001 and by the Saudi Board in Internal Medicine in 2001.  He earned his Fellowship in Nephrology from Queen’s University, Canada in 2004.  He has held many key administrative positions in the College of Medicine, UOD.  At present, he is the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs.  He was active and did many research projects and has published 115   articles in reputed national and international medical journals.  All his published articles are available in Google Scholar.  In addition, he has invented

All have been registered at the Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.  He is a member of many International Societies in Nephrology including the American Society of Nephrology and the International Society of Nephrology. Dr. Al-Hwiesh is a dedicated academician, physician, and nephrologist who is very conscientious and has the welfare of his patients at heart.  He started and established the Peritoneal Dialysis Unit in KFHU since 2005 and currently has more than 262 patients.
