|  Dr Joanna Rowinska is a Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw and Head of the Department of Nephrology, Dialysis & Internal Diseases. She has been an active clinical nephrologist for over 20 years. Dr Rowinska’s main clinical interests are: acute and chronic renal failure and different forms of dialysis therapy. She is a director of hemodialysis program for 80-90 patients and peritoneal dialysis program for 45 patients with end-stage renal disease. Her research interests include: cardiovascular disease in uremia, renal osteodystrophy and endocrine disorders in uremia. She has published or co-authored over 140 original or review articles and book chapters. |
