Election Statement
I would like to thank the nominating committee for inviting me to stand for this position. I have been working as a renal nurse, particularly with peritoneal dialysis for almost 25 years. In the past years I have been involved with the Society as a member of the Nursing Liaison Committee and lately as the Committee Chair. I have been involved in promoting peritoneal dialysis in Brazil and South America, as I believe PD should be the first option of renal replacement therapy. Finally, I would advocate effort to encourage nursing research with peritoneal dialysis, around the world.
