Election StatementAs a researcher and as a Training Program Director, I would advocate increased support for young investigators in basic and clinical research to improve PD and to insure that it continues to be a major form of renal replacement therapy. To support the training of future nephrologists, I would work with the ISN, ASN, EuroPD and other organizations to standardize training recommendations for PD. Finally, I would advocate efforts to bring PD to third world countries that lack dialysis capacity. Biography
