Jörg Plum, MD, is Associate Professor of Medicine and head of the Department of Nephrology, Rheumatology and Diabetology at the Medical Center Kassel, Germany.
Dr. Plum has 30 years of experience with peritoneal dialysis and has published more than 100 papers and textbook chapters with a focus on peritoneal transport, automated peritoneal dialysis and new solutions. He is active in research and teaching in the field of PD. He has coordinated and organized several educational activities, congresses and is a member of various societies of nephrology and dialysis.
