|  Dr. Yong-Lim Kim is the Professor of Medicine and Director of the Nephrology Division at Kyungpook National University Hospital, Daegu, South Korea. He is currently the Director of the Dialysis Quality Assurance Committee of Korean Society of Nephrology. He has served as Vice Director of the Regional Clinical Trial Center supported by the Ministry of Health & Welfare, Korean Government. He received his MD summa cum laude in 1985 from Kyungpook University, Daegu. He was certified by the Korean Board of Nephrology in 1993 and studied in the post doctoral research fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia for one year in 1996. He has also served as the director of the PD unit which has more than 200 PD patients. His research interests include peritoneal fibrosis, long-term preservation of peritoneal membrane, solution biocompatibility and renal fibrosis. He has published and co-authored over 90 papers among which about 30 have been published in international peer reviewed journals. | Mandate Responsible for - Promoting new members in the ISPD and retaining current members
